What's Happening

Over the past five years, Summit Ridge Middle School has raised nearly $10,990 for clean water projects around the world through its annual Walk For Water event. 2018 Summit Ridge Campaign for WaterPlease join us this year as we again partner with The Water Project, who has connected nearly 135 thousand people to raise $3,087,514 for clean water projects world-wide. With your gifts and your help rallying support, we can provide clean, safe and reliable water to a community in Africa.

Our Jump Start Program for fall's incoming 7th grade students will be held from July 30th - August 2nd, 2018 (Monday-Thursday, 8am-1pm).  Jump Start is an enrichment program and a unique opportunity to help students feel more confident and comfortable about entering middle school and completing a strong transition from elementary school.  Students of every skill level will benefit from the chance to attend Jump Start.  All classes will be kept to 18 students or under.  Click here to view the Jump Start Program flyer.

8th Grade End of Year Celebration - Save the Date!

BalloonsJoin us on Tuesday, May 22 from 1:30-2:30 p.m. in the gymnasium at Summit Ridge Middle School. Family and friends are welcome as our 2018 8th graders celebrate a grand farewell to middle school with cupcakes and photos, hugs and high-fives. The occasion will also feature brief student speeches and the announcement of team awards.

Our Elitch Gardens Trip will be on Wednesday, May 23.  Please click here for more information that includes the permission slip.  The deadline to pay online and then return your permission slip to school was May 8, 2018

Our Day Without Hate was held on April 27 to help connect students with one another.  An incredible ("Titanic!") student-led assembly was held along with break-out sessions that allowed students to work together in various team-building activities.  View a few images of the day here  or by clicking on the image below.
